1800s NC Church Interior In White And Grey by Jo Ann Tomaselli
A blank, clean, uncluttered room offers elegance in simplicity. When light, pattern, texture and shades of white are the elements of structure, the architecture of a room shines.
This image was taken in the upstairs gallery of a church from the 1800's. The unadorned windows flooded the interior space with light and reflected off the wooden walls, floors and pews creating a heavenly space. Everything in this church was white and shades of gray except the prayer books stacked neatly at the end of each bench and the occasional hand fan indicating the lack of air conditioning in this historic building.
