Description
Canada Goose Gosling by Jo Ann Tomaselli
What human parents wouldn't want to have a baby as adept as an immature Canada Goose chick? As soon as the newborn goslings hatch they are immediately capable of walking, swimming and finding their own food. Parents are often seen leading their goslings in a line, usually with one adult at the front, and the other at the back. These small, yellow feathered animals found in natural settings are fun to look at but don't get too close as the parents are very protective.

Reminds me of my canada goose - Her name was lucy and we helped her to fly, and fly away she did!

Aw. So adorable and life-like that you want to pat him. This gosling must be named "Ryan". v/f

Great capture Jo Ann. I really like the blurred foreground grasses to give this gosling a sense of place and the detail of the soft down is exquisite.

Beautiful! And I get another chance to differentiate between ducklings and goslings! Such a perfect yellow head!
