Artist's Description
N.C. Tractor Shed - Photography by Jo Ann Tomaselli
This image is from a series titled BACK ROADS, NC. Heading west from my coastal town, the State becomes very rural and there are many old abandoned homes, run down barns, decrepit schools & factories and overgrown structures. I love traveling these back roads and seeing what relics the countryside has to offer.
I am a North Carolina based Fine Art Photographer specializing in Landscape, Nature and Travel Photography.
Numerous images in my portfolio are held in private collections, exhibited in museums and galleries, published in both print & online and have won various awards. Additional information available on my FAA Blog tab.
All of my images are original work, for sale, copyrighted and as such, are protected by US and International Copyright laws. The FAA-Watermark will NOT appear on your Museum Quality Photo Prints, Canvas, Metal, Acrylic, Framed Art or Greeting Cards.

Love this series of found places Jo Ann. The weathered siding and roof are a great contrast to the very new looking tractor. Beautiful work!

Thanks for the fave & vote Randy. Much of the architecture in the south used the same lines - so it's possible this could have been a home or a place of business. Todays' architectural designers are drawing on the past and it's not unusual to see whole neighborhoods that mimic these oldtimers ~ sweet!

Now you got me a thinking, Jo Ann, as this looks like at one time it may have been a gas station or a gathering place of people to wander about, like a general store, or something. At least to me, that is what it exudes! Love it! fave and vote
