Powered Paraglider Soars Landscape Fine Art Photography By Jo Ann Tomaselli

I had the good fortune to be a passenger in a tandem powered para glider, flying over the agricultural fields of central Florida at daybreak. On this particularly fine spring morning, the ground was heavy with moisture and a low lying fog covering the fields. Para gliders require a flat runway to taxi for take off and once we were in the air and looking down from heights of up to 1200 feet, I could see the patterns our truck and glider tracks had made in the morning dew. There were several of us up in the air that day and I was fortunate that my pilot was following behind this single, foot launched, para glider so I could capture him in flight.

I am a North Carolina based Fine Art Photographer specializing in Landscape, Nature and Travel Photography.
