Here are some facts I found out about crabbing:
Best time of day to crab: early morning, evening, or with moving or falling tide.
Best type of bait: chicken necks, bull lips and eel.
A crabbing license is required.
Recreational crabbers are only allowed to have 2 crab pots per day.
Native Americans introduced crabbing to the European settlers.
If a crabber catches a female crab that is bearing eggs, they must return it to the water.
Crabbing is best done is shallow water.
Add a morning sunrise with hints of orange, pink and yellow and you're good to go ~ have fun!
