Many people go on holiday to any number of coastal regions in the world, to take in the sea, sand and the beauty of the landscape. For many, the number one activity is to wake early, walk to the shore and watch as a beautiful orange yellow sun breaks above the horizon, welcoming a brand new day.
I am fortunate in that I don't have to go on vacation to see this scene. This is my front yard and I get to watch the sun rise all year long.
In this image, you can see a lone house in silhouette against the horizon. It is the only house on an island that is only reachable by boat.
I am a North Carolina based Fine Art Photographer specializing in Landscape, Nature and Travel Photography.
