I was camping high up in the hills of Alabama and this scene presented itself. It appears to be large boulders with moss and spiderwebs but in fact, it's an illusion. Created by a previous camper, the rocks are small and were placed top of a larger rock. By changing my shooting perspective, I created the illusion of large scale. The fog filtering through the winter trees in the background added a sense of mystery to this petite still life.
