Any time I travel and can spend time near the water is magical. Add a palm tree and I'm really happy as that means the climate is tropical. A boat in the distance, gently floating on the water off the sandy beach, implies a measure of desirable recreation. Add a golden setting sun, a gentle breeze, a blue sky reflected in the ocean and the perfect setting, bathed in beautiful light, presents itself for my total enjoyment.
On a recent trip to Puerto Rico, it was the goal of my family to find a different location every evening from which to enjoy the sunset. Rincon offers many winding roads, hillside cliffs and easy access paths to the beach, so our choices were varied and endless.
Puerto Rico is easily accessible from the east coast of the United States. From the old city center of San Juan to the beaches of Rincon, there are many opportunities to enjoy the local culture, people, food and extensive shoreline.
