A Swedish friend of mine has been renovating a stuga on her property the last few years. She and her husband have replaced floorboards, roof, rafters and walls. A traditionalist at heart, her decor choices are evident in the sparse collection of furniture in this oversized room. Two comfy matching chairs, upholstered in white fabric, sit opposite each other and share a simple wooden table set between them. Brilliant summer light pours through the window washing over wide, wooden floorboards. A simple green wallpaper pattern on a yellow background, the only color in the room, completes the view of this tranquil interior.

I am a North Carolina based Fine Art Photographer specializing in Landscape, Nature and Travel Photography.
