This image is from a series titled BACK ROADS, NC. Heading west from my coastal town, the State becomes very rural and there are many old abandoned homes, run down barns, decrepit schools & factories and overgrown structures. I love traveling these back roads and seeing what relics the countryside has to offer.
I am a North Carolina based Fine Art Photographer specializing in Landscape, Nature and Travel Photography.

Jo Ann, I just love this one! And if you get enough Pepsi or Coca Cola, you could have your won "gas"! LOL I love the oldies, as with our ever changing world, some for the best, and some changes for the worse, I like thinking back to these times in history, where they had penny candy stores and barber shops with actual revolving strips, and old timers to tell you the history of their lives. Now, just go to tv or the internet, and hear all the things quickly, but not as accurately, as you have captured in your Backroads gallery!
